Forest of Dean Old Photos

This Photo Gallery is exclusively for old photographs of people and places of the Forest of Dean. If you have any old photographs that you've converted into a digital format and you would like them included in the Gallery, you can send them to us as an email attachment.

In keeping with the theme of the Web site, the photos must be at least 60 years or older and people must be of past generations unless the photo has some significant value.

It is very important that you follow the instructions below in order
for your photos to be successfully added in our Photo Gallery.

• Send an individual email for each photo to Forest of Dean Photo Gallery Uploads. Do not attach multiple images to an e-mail.

• Make sure you title all the images appropriately before sending them to us so we know what the image contains and we can match it to the text you send us about the photo.
  
  Having a scanner generated photo title such as img012 is confusing and can result in the wrong description being added underneath a photo.

• Include in the e-mail the descriptive text that you would like added underneath your photo when it is displayed in the Photo Gallery. Include as much information as you can, such as names, location and date.
